- 4 salmon fillets (5–6 ounces each)
- 1 round of Boursin cheese (5.2 oz)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil. Stir until smooth.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and drizzle with the remaining olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the salmon skin-side down in the baking dish and spread the cheese mixture evenly over each fillet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Notes
Mix the Boursin cheese and garlic in advance for easy preparation. Avoid overcooking the salmon to maintain its flakiness.
