Description

Succulent chicken breasts marinated in creamy Greek yogurt, garlic, and herbs, baked to perfection for a tender and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, thyme, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and fragrant.
  2. Coat the Chicken Breasts: Take each chicken breast and generously coat it in the marinade, ensuring every inch is covered.
  3. Marinate: Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight.
  4. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking.
  5. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the marinated chicken breasts on it.
  6. Bake: Transfer the sheet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Rest the Chicken: After removing from the oven, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, pour any leftover marinade atop the chicken before baking. Feel free to customize with additional herbs or lemon zest.
