- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 cup milk
- Whipped cream or ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced bananas and brown sugar, and let sit for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Spread the banana mixture evenly in a 9-inch square baking dish.
- Pour milk over the banana mixture.
- Sprinkle the flour mixture on top of the bananas.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
For best results, use ripe bananas and allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
