Description

Blueberry Crumb Bars are a delightful dessert featuring a buttery crumb crust and a sweet blueberry filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  5. In another bowl, combine blueberries, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  6. Spread the blueberry mixture over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the blueberries.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the blueberry filling.
  • These bars can be served warm or cold.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
