Description

These crispy bites are filled with spicy ground chicken, creamy mozzarella, and crunchy bacon, making them the perfect game day treat.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, Buffalo sauce, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cut mozzarella cheese into bite-sized cubes.
  3. With slightly wet hands, form a ball with the chicken mixture, placing mozzarella cubes in the center.
  4. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each bomb in flour, dip into egg, and then roll in breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or large pot.
  7. Fry the bombs in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oil and place on paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm.

Notes

You can assemble the bombs in advance and refrigerate for a few hours before frying. For a healthier option, consider baking or air frying.
