- 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
- 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
- 1 lb Ground Chicken
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, Buffalo sauce, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cut mozzarella cheese into bite-sized cubes.
- With slightly wet hands, form a ball with the chicken mixture, placing mozzarella cubes in the center.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each bomb in flour, dip into egg, and then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or large pot.
- Fry the bombs in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm.
Notes
You can assemble the bombs in advance and refrigerate for a few hours before frying. For a healthier option, consider baking or air frying.
