- 4 cups of diced apples
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 packet of fruit pectin
Instructions
- Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and dicing them into small pieces.
- In a large pot, combine the diced apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Cook over medium heat until the apples are soft and the mixture starts to bubble.
- Add the caramel sauce and stir until well combined.
- Stir in the fruit pectin and bring the mixture to a rolling boil for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
- Seal the jars and let them cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, blend the mixture before transferring to jars.
- This jam can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
- Adjust the amount of sugar based on the sweetness of the apples used.
