Description

Cheesy Taco Sticks are a delicious and easy-to-make snack that combines the flavors of tacos with gooey cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water as per package instructions. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each triangle, then top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, diced tomatoes, and green onions.
  6. Roll up the triangles starting from the wide end and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with sour cream on the side.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other toppings like jalapeños or olives.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
  • Adjust the spice level by using mild or hot taco seasoning.
