Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake infused with the delightful flavors of cherry and chocolate, perfect for any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream, cherry pie filling, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
