Description

A delicious and unique dessert that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls and apple pie in a layered format.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
  • 3 cups of sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup of cream cheese frosting (from cinnamon rolls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out the cinnamon rolls and flatten them slightly.
  4. Layer half of the cinnamon rolls in a greased baking dish.
  5. Add half of the apple mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls.
  6. Drizzle half of the melted butter over the apples.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon rolls and apple mixture.
  8. Top with chopped nuts if desired.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Drizzle with cream cheese frosting before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the apple mixture.
  • Serve warm for the best taste experience.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
