Description

Indulge in the luxurious Crème brûlée donut holes that combine rich creamy custard with delightful donut holes for a perfect bite-sized treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Sugar for caramelizing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut hole pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg yolks, and vanilla extract and whisk until well mixed.
  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each cavity of the donut hole pan about three-quarters full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and cool slightly in the pan.
  8. Whip the heavy cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form.
  9. Fill each cooled donut hole with whipped cream using a piping bag.
  10. Sprinkle sugar on top of each filled donut hole and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden.
  11. Serve warm or allow to cool at room temperature.
