Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Gently fold in the colorful sprinkles.
- Spoon the batter into the lined cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
