Description

Delightfully colorful Funfetti-Style Cupcakes that are perfect for any celebration, with a tender crumb and joyful bursts of sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles
  • Frosting of your choice
  • Extra sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  7. Gently fold in the colorful sprinkles.
  8. Spoon the batter into the lined cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
