Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring creamy goat cheese and a drizzle of sweet honey, all nestled between slices of crispy, toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 4 oz Goat Cheese
  • 2 slices Sourdough or Whole Grain Bread
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Flip one slice butter-side down and spread the goat cheese evenly on the unbuttered side. Drizzle honey over the goat cheese.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread, unbuttered side facing the cheese.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and place the sandwich in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, pressing down gently with a spatula.
  5. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the pan, let rest, then slice in half and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, drizzle additional honey on the sliced sandwich before serving. You can also customize with fruits or herbs.
