Description

A delicious and hearty casserole made with ground beef, green beans, and a creamy sauce, topped with crispy fried onions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crispy fried onions.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, you can use lean ground turkey instead of beef.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or peas for extra flavor.
  • This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
