Instructions
- Combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour in the warm water and olive oil while stirring until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about one hour.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Prepare the sauce by simmering crushed tomatoes, garlic, and oregano over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Punch down the risen dough and spread it evenly in a greased baking pan.
- Pour the warm tomato sauce over the dough and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes, slice into squares, and serve warm.
