- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup of onion, sliced
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the pork chops and brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the pork chops and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and sauté until translucent.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to combine, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve the pork chops smothered in gravy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops in your favorite spices overnight.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the gravy.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
