Description

A comforting breakfast casserole featuring crispy bacon, creamy eggs, and crunchy hash browns, topped with melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups hash browns
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. Sauté onion and bell pepper in the same skillet until softened.
  4. Combine hash browns, bacon, sautéed vegetables, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with cheese.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Assemble the casserole the night before for an easy prep in the morning. Customize with additional vegetables or spices.
