Description

A delightful dessert that combines creamy vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and crunchy vanilla wafers, evoking nostalgia and joy with every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the milk, heavy cream, vanilla pudding mix, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Layer half of the crushed vanilla wafers at the bottom of the pie crust.
  3. Add half of the sliced bananas on top of the wafers.
  4. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the bananas, spreading it evenly.
  5. Repeat the layering with the remaining bananas and pudding mixture.
  6. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes or until well set.
  7. Top with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare the pie a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
