- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Whisk together the milk, heavy cream, vanilla pudding mix, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Layer half of the crushed vanilla wafers at the bottom of the pie crust.
- Add half of the sliced bananas on top of the wafers.
- Pour half of the pudding mixture over the bananas, spreading it evenly.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining bananas and pudding mixture.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes or until well set.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
For best results, prepare the pie a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
