Description

A delightful fusion of crispy textures and creamy flavors, this Bang Bang Fried Rice combines leftover rice, colorful vegetables, and your choice of protein tossed in a tangy sauce for the perfect quick meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 1 cup protein of choice (chicken, shrimp, or tofu)
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and protein, sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in cooked rice, break clumps gently.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayo, sriracha, and sweet chili sauce until creamy.
  5. Drizzle sauce over rice mixture, stir to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider vegan mayo or Greek yogurt. Avoid using fresh rice; make sure it’s day-old for best texture.
