- 2 cups fresh broccoli, finely chopped
- 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the finely chopped broccoli, grated cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and season liberally with salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in your frying pan over medium heat until it’s hot enough for frying.
- Form small patties from the mixture, about 2-3 inches wide, and gently place them in the hot oil without overcrowding the pan.
- Fry each side for 3-4 minutes, or until the fritters are golden brown and crisp.
- Transfer the cooked fritters to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

For a healthier option, you can air fry or bake the fritters instead of frying.
