A rich, moist chocolate brownie bread that combines the texture of a brownie with the softness of fresh bread, perfect for any occasion.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your loaf pan.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl, whisking until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drizzle with half of the hot fudge sauce.
- Add the remaining batter on top and swirl in the remaining fudge sauce.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Substitute gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version or use applesauce to reduce sugar content. Can be served warm with vanilla ice cream.
