Description

Delicious Churro Cheesecake Bars combine creamy cheesecake with a crunchy churro crust, topped with cinnamon sugar for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for the crust)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease your 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, mixing until combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing fully after each addition. Incorporate the vanilla, flour, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cream cheese filling over the crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and the center has a gentle jiggle.
  7. Cool in the pan at room temperature, then sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon before cutting into squares.

Notes

For best flavor, chill the bars in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
