- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 4 Corn or Flour Tortillas
- 1 Avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup Salsa
- 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
- 1/2 cup Cheese, crumbled (cotija or cheddar)
- 1/4 cup Crema
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, finely chopped cilantro, minced garlic, and taco seasoning until well combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag or large bowl, pouring the marinade over them. Seal or cover, letting the chicken luxuriate in those bold flavors in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the Grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Rest and Slice: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice against the grain for tender strips.
- Assemble Your Tacos: Warm your tortillas and place the grilled chicken strips inside. Top with avocado, salsa, lettuce, cheese, and drizzle with crema.
Notes
