Description

A delightful and refreshing salad featuring sweet green peas, crispy bacon, and a creamy dressing, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweet green peas, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Gently mix everything together until evenly combined, taking care not to mash the peas.
  2. In a separate small bowl, blend the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the creamy dressing over the pea mixture and gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve chilled, and enjoy!

Notes
