Description

A delightful crustless pie filled with fresh strawberries and a creamy custard-like filling, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar in a mixing bowl and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  5. Distribute the strawberries evenly over the batter.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and the pie is set.
