Description

A warm dessert that combines the classic flavors of a banana split in a simple dump cake format, featuring ripe bananas, strawberries, and pineapple topped with a buttery crumbly layer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups juicy strawberries, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) tropical pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 package (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer the sliced bananas, strawberries, and pineapple evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the fruit layers.
  4. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Drizzle chocolate syrup generously over the top.
  6. Sprinkle with nuts if using.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruits are bubbling.
