Instructions
- Combine the granulated sugar, heavy cream, and unsalted butter in a medium saucepan. Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture reaches a gentle boil.
- Allow it to cook without stirring for about 5 minutes, until it takes on a lovely golden hue.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Scoop generous spoonfuls onto wax paper or a silicone mat.
- Allow the pralines to cool and set before enjoying.
