Description

A comforting and flavorful garlic butter chicken made effortlessly in a crockpot. Perfect for busy weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter, sautéing for about a minute.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  5. Add the chicken broth, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks.
  8. Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes, garnished with parsley.
