Description

A vibrant summer dish featuring grilled watermelon drenched in a honey-lime dressing, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium watermelon, sliced thick
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Cut the watermelon into thick slices, about 1 inch each.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the honey and lime juice.
  4. Brush the watermelon slices with the honey-lime mixture on both sides.
  5. Sprinkle salt over the slices.
  6. Place the watermelon on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from grill and drizzle with any remaining honey-lime mixture.
  8. Garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep an eye on the watermelon to avoid overly soft slices. Can be prepared ahead by mixing honey-lime dressing in advance.
