Description

Delightful jalapeño crescent rolls filled with creamy cheese and a hint of spice, perfect for gatherings or as a cozy snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or pepper jack)
  • 12 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the shredded cheese, diced jalapeños, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll toward the point, pinching the edges to seal.
  5. Arrange the filled rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg, if desired.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh jalapeños for heat or pickled jalapeños for a milder flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
