Description

A delightful Lemon Garlic Chicken dish with a burst of flavor from fresh lemon and aromatic garlic, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Add the chicken to the hot skillet, cooking until golden brown on one side, about 6-7 minutes. Flip and repeat on the other side until thoroughly cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a plate to rest.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant—be careful not to burn it!
  6. Pour in the lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine with the garlic, creating a beautiful, aromatic sauce.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating each piece with the vibrant sauce. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, adding a burst of color and a hint of freshness.

Notes
