Description
Delicious one bowl chocolate chip brownies that are fudgy, rich, and easy to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in your large mixing bowl—use the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring to prevent burning. Let it cool slightly.
- Stir in the granulated sugar until the mixture is well combined. The texture should be smooth without lumps.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined to maintain fudginess.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the dish for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
To enhance chocolate flavor, consider adding a pinch of espresso powder.
