Description

Delicious one bowl chocolate chip brownies that are fudgy, rich, and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in your large mixing bowl—use the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring to prevent burning. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar until the mixture is well combined. The texture should be smooth without lumps.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Pour in the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
  6. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined to maintain fudginess.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool in the dish for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

To enhance chocolate flavor, consider adding a pinch of espresso powder.
