Description

A tender pork tenderloin roasted to perfection, served with a luscious gravy and ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Pork Tenderloin
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the pork tenderloin liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the pork and sear on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. After cooking, let the pork rest for at least 10 minutes.
  8. Whisk flour into the skillet drippings, then gradually stir in chicken broth and simmer until thickened.
  9. Slice the pork and serve with gravy and your choice of sides, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Letting the pork rest is crucial for juicy meat. Pair with creamy mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
