Description

Aromatic pepper soup brimming with warmth, perfect for cozy evenings or celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb tender meat (chicken or beef)
  • 4 cups broth (chicken or beef)
  • 23 spicy peppers (Scotch bonnet or habanero)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or cilantro)

Instructions

  1. Heat a splash of oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. Introduce the tender meat to the pot and brown it on all sides.
  3. Pour in the broth and let it come to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the spicy peppers and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
  7. Ladle into bowls, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot.
