Description

Delicious, sweet and savory Little Smokies cooked in a slow cooker with a caramel-rich pineapple brown sugar sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Lil’ Smokies sausages
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the brown sugar, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in your slow cooker until well combined.
  2. Toss in the Lil’ Smokies and pineapple chunks, ensuring each smokie is well coated.
  3. Cover the cooker and set it to low. Cook for 3 to 4 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Stir the mixture before serving to redistribute the juices.
  5. Serve warm with toothpicks for easy snacking.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding diced jalapeños to the sauce. Enjoy with a crispy veggie platter or garlic bread on the side.
