Description

A rich and creamy dip combining crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, enhanced with maple syrup and bourbon for an unforgettable flavor experience.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a cast iron skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8–10 minutes. Remove and crumble into small pieces.
  2. Blend the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, maple syrup, bourbon, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Incorporate the crumbled bacon into the creamy mixture, folding gently to distribute the bacon.
  4. Bake the mixture in a greased baking dish at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with crackers, bread, or vegetables.

Notes

This dip can be prepared ahead of time. Just assemble the mixture, cover, and refrigerate up to a day before baking.
