Description

Deliciously savory ground beef tacos served in crispy shells, topped with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
  • Taco shells or tortillas for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers, ready to embrace flavors.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for 3–4 minutes until the onion turns translucent and fragrant.
  3. Introduce the ground beef next. Break it apart with a spatula, and cook for 5–7 minutes until it’s nicely browned.
  4. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, blending thoroughly.
  5. If using, add the diced bell peppers. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until they soften.
  6. Transfer the seasoned beef into taco shells or warm tortillas. Set up a toppings station for customization.

Notes

You can prepare the beef in advance; just store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Consider using an air fryer for browning.
