Description
Deliciously savory ground beef tacos served in crispy shells, topped with fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
- Taco shells or tortillas for serving
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers, ready to embrace flavors.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for 3–4 minutes until the onion turns translucent and fragrant.
- Introduce the ground beef next. Break it apart with a spatula, and cook for 5–7 minutes until it’s nicely browned.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, blending thoroughly.
- If using, add the diced bell peppers. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until they soften.
- Transfer the seasoned beef into taco shells or warm tortillas. Set up a toppings station for customization.
Notes
You can prepare the beef in advance; just store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Consider using an air fryer for browning.
