- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, and softened butter in a large mixing bowl until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Prepare the filling by tossing the sliced strawberries with sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract, then spread it over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the strawberries to create a topping.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the strawberries bubble.
- Cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
