- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Prepare the Coffee Mixture: In a shallow dish, combine the cooled brewed coffee and coffee liqueur if using.
- Dip the Ladyfingers: Quickly soak each ladyfinger in the coffee mixture.
- Create the Cream Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Layer the Ladyfingers: Arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers evenly across the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the Cream: Gently spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add the Strawberries: Scatter half of the sliced strawberries over the cream layer.
- Repeat the Layers: Add another layer of the remaining soaked ladyfingers and the rest of the mascarpone mixture, topping with the remaining strawberries.
- Dust with Cocoa: Lightly sprinkle cocoa powder over the top layer.
- Chill: Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes (preferably overnight).
- Serve Chilled: Cut into squares and enjoy, garnishing with additional strawberries if desired.
