Description

A vibrant and flavorful pepper jam that is sweet-and-spicy without added sugars, perfect for enhancing meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bell Peppers (Red and Green), finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Stevia or other sugar substitute
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Pectin
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the bell peppers using a sharp chef’s knife.
  2. Mix the chopped peppers, stevia, apple cider vinegar, and salt in a heavy-bottomed pot.
  3. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the pectin and stir continuously for another 5 minutes.
  5. Cool the mixture, then transfer to heat-proof jars and seal tightly.
  6. Refrigerate filled jars to allow the jam to thicken.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Jam stays fresh for about two weeks in the fridge. You can double the recipe for gifting.
