Description

A vibrant and creamy tuna pasta salad perfect for picnics, potlucks, or quick dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Pasta (elbow, rotini, or penne)
  • 1 can Tuna (drained)
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Celery (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Red Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and cool.
  2. Combine the cooled pasta, drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, red onion, frozen peas, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve cold, garnishing with extra herbs if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or avocado. This salad can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to three days.
